At the European Athletics Combined Events Cup, Yana Maksimava from Vitebsk won bronze in the individual standings

Vitebsk athlete Yana Maksimova was the standout performer for the Belarusian team at the European Athletics Combined Events Cup in Toruń, Poland. Following the competition, our National team secured fourth place. Over the two days of the championship in the women's heptathlon and men's decathlon, Belarusians accumulated 40152 points. The Russians emerged victorious, followed by the Dutch in second place, with the French taking bronze. In the individual standings, Belarusians also performed commendably: Yana Maksimova finished third among women, and Eduard Mikhan was second among men. Both achieved their best results of the season.
