In the Orsha region, the first thousand-ton youth crew in the region was honored
Ivan Kapich and Evgeny Sinkevich are hereditary grain growers, both their fathers are combine operators, so the guys have been accustomed to agricultural work since childhood. Evgeny's father, Vladimir Sinkevich, by the way, works at the same enterprise in the same crew with his other son and can rightly be proud of their achievements.
Ivan has been at "Teplichny" for only six months, but he is already spoken of as a skilled combine operator. Before that, the young man worked at agricultural enterprises in the Mogilev region, he is very pleased with the work in the Orsha region, and tries to show himself in the best possible light. They were purposefully working towards the result of a thousand tons, he says, otherwise, what kind of competition without victory?
Evgeny is in his first year as part of a combine operator crew. If he doesn't know something, his father advises him, and his partner is also competent: Ivan has a good understanding of agricultural machinery and teaches his assistant what and how it works when needed. The guys have worked together excellently, the result of their coordinated interaction is evident.
Although it's hard work: early rising and sometimes unbearable heat in the combine cabin. But it's worth it!
The guys are in a fighting spirit and intend to harvest at least as much grain again. And with their current result, they were congratulated by representatives of the regional and district authorities, the regional committee of the BRYUOM, and the enterprise management. The young men are grateful for the gifts and certificates. From now on, a honorary star of production leaders will adorn their combine.
As Viktor Glushin, the first secretary of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRYUOM, said, the youth union annually helps the village by forming agricultural student teams (currently there are more than 300 people in them) and participating in youth crew competitions. Student teams work not only on harvesting but also on drying grain, weeding, and have been involved in other agricultural work.
The regional competition among youth combine harvester crews was unpredictable, with the struggle going down to the wire. Today's harvest heroes snatched victory thanks to honest and hard work.
As Gennady Egorov, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, told us, 173 youth crews are working in the fields of the region this year, with the majority in the Verkhnedvinsk district. All of them are aimed at a significant result and contribute to the country's food security.
