At the first auction in 2018, the Vitebskoblимущество fund sold a warehouse building in Postavy
The new owner of the real estate, previously owned by the UP Housing and Communal Services of Postavy District, is a local private enterprise that plans to use the building for business development. The money from the sale of the building will go to the local budget. The auction offered a one-story brick building with a cold extension, built in 1991, with a total area of over 332 sq.m, simultaneously with the right to lease a land plot of almost 0.1 ha for 50 years for the maintenance of the real estate. Since only one participant showed interest in the lot, the auction was declared void, and the sole bidder agreed to purchase the property at the starting price increased by 5%.
In total, in the first month of the year, the Vitebsk Regional Property Fund put about 40 real estate objects of republican and communal ownership up for auction. Following the results of the 2017 auctions, 80 buildings and structures were sold for over Br1.8 million.
