At a meeting with the chairman of the regional executive committee. A fly in the ointment, capable of spoiling a barrel of honey
The operational meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee was dedicated to the results of Nikolai Sherstnev's meeting with the work collectives of UP "Vitebsk Biopharma" and OJSC "Vozrozhdenie" of Vitebsk region. A calm working atmosphere is maintained at the enterprises, and people adequately perceive the emerging economic difficulties.
The favorite hobbyhorse of marginal critics of the authorities, of whom there are plenty on the Internet, is to criticize officials. They say they are this, and that, and so on. And most importantly, they don't think about the people, citizens can't solve their problems for years...
Such fabrications, to put it mildly, do not correspond to reality. If an appeal to the executive committee is justified and there is an opportunity to solve the problem, the necessary measures are taken without fail.
Confirmation of this was the next operational meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, dedicated to the results of Nikolai Sherstnev's meeting with the work collectives of UP "Vitebsk Biopharma" and OJSC "Vozrozhdenie" of Vitebsk region.
As noted
by the head of the region, a calm working atmosphere is maintained at the enterprises, and people adequately perceive the emerging economic difficulties and are looking for ways to overcome them. But there are issues that cause tension at the place of residence and bring discomfort to everyday life. For example, residents of the village of Dolzha, where the biopharma is located, are dissatisfied with the range of food and everyday goods in the consumer union store. There are complaints about the quality and lack of sliced bread, and a small selection of dairy products.
The chairmen of the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Regional Executive Committee, Sergey Dogel, and the Chairman of the Board of the Regional Consumer Union, Alexander Shinkarenko, have been instructed to ensure regular supplies of products from OJSC
”Vitebskmyasomolprom“ to all stores of the region's consumer cooperative system, and to include the bakeries of the regional center among the suppliers of bread and bakery products for the Vitebsk region. The lack of a permanent general practitioner at the local FAP (Feldsher-Accoucheur Point) also caused considerable inconvenience to the residents of Dolzha. After the issue was raised with the chairman of the regional executive committee, the situation has changed. As reported by Yuri Derkach, head of the healthcare department of the regional executive committee, a corresponding specialist has already been appointed.
The problem of street lighting in the settlement arose almost out of nowhere due to the sluggishness of housing and communal services workers. Despite having lamps and lanterns, they did not bother to turn them on in the morning and evening hours after the summer period. Or, more likely, they were excessively keen on saving money. Nikolai Sherstnev sharply condemned such practices, emphasizing that saving money in this matter at the expense of people's comfort and safety is unacceptable.
The second area where they also try to save money at the expense of serving the population turned out to be banking. For example, in Dolzha, the servicing bank does not provide the ATM with sufficient cash on payday for the employees of the biopharmaceutical factory. People are forced to travel to Vitebsk to withdraw the necessary amounts from their cards. In some settlements of the region, where salary cards have also been introduced, there are no ATMs at all, as their maintenance and servicing are unprofitable for banks. And people suffer.
On this issue, the demand of the chairman of the regional executive committee to the heads of servicing banks is categorical: if you have introduced salary payment by cards, you must install an ATM.
At the operational meeting, issues of finding funds to pay off wage arrears and purchase fuel for autumn field work were also considered, and specific ways to resolve them were outlined.
