At an expanded meeting of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus", the results of the work done were summarized, the active members were awarded, the deputy chairman was re-elected, and participation in the upcoming Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia and other important events was discussed.

Special attention was paid to the contribution to the 2024 election campaign. The Deputy Chairman of the regional executive committee, member of the Supreme Political Council of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus" Vyacheslav Durnov noted that many party members participated in the preparation and conduct of the unified voting day.

— The process went smoothly, and unity was truly visible. It is not for nothing that more than 40% of the lower house of parliament are our comrades, representatives of the party, — he emphasized.

Vyacheslav Durnov recalled that the electoral campaign is ongoing. The nomination of delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly is underway. The presidential elections are ahead. The Deputy Chairman of the regional executive committee expressed confidence that this campaign will also be conducted no less successfully and smoothly, no matter how much some people abroad would like to sow discord in Belarusian society.
— Our Belarus is moving towards its goal as a united team, — he said. — And the goal is quite simple: for every person to have any path open at the state level and for everyone to live with dignity in their country.

The Chairman of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus", Rector of VSU named after P. Masherov Valentina Bogatyreva emphasized that the expanded meeting took place at the university on the day when the patriotic event "VNS: We are together" is being held at the university. This initiative provides an opportunity for both teachers and students to exchange experiences and immerse themselves in the upcoming important political event.

Before discussing the results of the work and the nearest plans of the regional party branch, the active members who most successfully coped with the serious workload during the preparation and conduct of the unified voting day were awarded.

Representatives of several regional branches: Orsha, Glubokoye, Senno, Dokshitsy, and some others, received commendations for their participation in socio-political activities and significant contribution to the development of party building in the Vitebsk region. In addition, about a dozen employees of VSU named after P. Masherov became holders of party membership cards.

— The growing number of candidates for party membership among young people indicates that they trust us. And they trust us when we do not lie, speak honestly and openly, when we have something to say, — emphasized Valentina Bogatyreva.

At the event, a deputy chairman of the regional branch of the "Belaya Rus" party was elected. This position was taken by Sergey Lyadenko, chairman of the Vitebsk Railway District Branch of the party, deputy head of UP "Vitebsk Branch of Belarusian Railways".
