A passerby rescued a schoolboy on the Vitba River
13 January, Zheludzev Alexander Vladimirovich saved a boy from the "Vitba" river before the arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units. The victim turned out to be a boy from the 5th grade of Secondary School No. 28. He explained that he was sledding down a hill, the sled went onto the ice, and he went to get it. He stepped onto the ice and fell through about 3 meters from the shore.
The child was taken to the healthcare institution "Children's Regional Clinical Hospital" with a preliminary diagnosis of "general hypothermia", and the rescuer went home.
The Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations once again appeals to the residents of the region. Be careful, do not go onto thin ice. Do not let children play near rivers and reservoirs until the ice has strengthened and its thickness reaches 5 cm.
