Unjustified intermediation must be eliminated in the Belarusian market - N. Zaichenko
August 5, Minsk / Lilia Krapivina - BELTA /. Unjustified intermediation must be eradicated from the Belarusian market. This was stated to journalists on August 4 by the Minister of Economy, Nikolai Zaichenko, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"The President of Belarus has repeatedly pointed out that the issue of unjustified intermediation, which leads to the destruction of the financial system of enterprises and organizations, must be finally resolved," Nikolai Zaichenko said.
Today, this problem has indeed become extremely acute due to the financial and economic crisis. Unjustified intermediation leads, on the one hand, to price increases. "Look, today we can find goods on the market whose prices differ by up to 2.5 times," the minister cited as an example. Another negative aspect is "the same foolish competition that is created in the domestic market." And, finally, corrupt practices, which are an inevitable consequence of such a system of unjustified intermediation in the market.
Currently, the government is developing a set of additional measures that will allow the President's directive to be fully implemented, Nikolai Zaichenko noted. -0-
