Vitebsk region honored harvest leaders
The leadership of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee congratulated the crews from the "Ustye" agricultural experimental base. These are the combine brothers Oleg and Mikhail Kiselev, as well as the youth crew of Sergey Spotkay and Dmitry Batyukov. They were the ones who opened the account of thousand-tonners in Pridvinye.
The first tandem has already threshed 1155 tons of grain. The second has threshed 1221 tons. They received certificates and valuable prizes from the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Orsha District Executive Committee, as well as from the regional and district committees of the agro-industrial complex workers' union. There is also a third thousand-tonner crew in the Orsha district. They work at OJSC "Mayak Vysokoye". This is the father and son Marshalovs, Anatoly and Andrey, who have already threshed 1096 tons of grain on a domestic KZS-1218 combine.
As for the highest yield, according to the deputy chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Konstantin Savin, it is demonstrated during the harvest campaign of 2015 by the grain growers of SPC "Larinovka":
— They thresh more than 65 centners of grain per hectare. This is a very good result. Today, about 63 thousand tons of grain have been threshed in the district as a whole. More than 47 percent of the areas have been harvested. If the weather conditions and work pace do not change, we will be able to complete the harvest within two weeks.
