A unified regional subcontracting resource has been created in the Vitebsk region

The first regional online subcontracting exchange took place in Vitebsk on October 22.

In accordance with the "Work Plan for Monitoring the Implementation of the Roadmap for Involving Small and Medium-sized Businesses in Cooperation Chains in the Production of Products by Large Enterprises," approved by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Committee for Economy, together with the Marketing Center, has developed a unified regional resource – a regional online subcontracting platform on the website "Innovations.Investments.Prospects" iipvit.by.

The resource has localized a number of information resources and communications and has become a comprehensive platform providing exhibition, business, information-analytical, and communication services that promote the digitalization of business processes. The created unified regional resource corresponds to the strategy of maximum digitalization of business processes:

- implementation of modern management approaches;

- implementation of digital technologies;

- creation of multiple objects on unified platforms and development of software products;

- digital consulting.

This project is being implemented with the support and assistance of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs using the electronic software resource of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs "Republican Information Resource for Subcontracting." The created joint resource carries significant informational value and has a high rating in the uniqueness of services provided to businesses, including reducing the share of imported equipment, components, and technologies in industrial sectors. The Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs has held more than 15 subcontracting exchanges.

Subcontracting exchanges are one of the mechanisms for implementing measures to address critical import issues.

The Contractor enterprise on the subcontracting platform posts a list of products (raw materials, components, services) that it imports but which could be produced by Belarusian small and medium-sized enterprises, regardless of their form of ownership.

To ensure systemic operation, all information is posted on the website of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs and the Marketing Center. Our work consists in organizing feedback between the contractor and potential suppliers of goods and services, using our own developments and the platform of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs. At the same time, it is important that the Contractor Enterprise makes decisions independently and independently carries out all negotiations with subcontractors. Lists of import-substituted products are posted in a unified database of contractors in the Vitebsk region, and accordingly, subcontractors are searched for by the Organizers of the Exchanges: the Committee for Economy of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs, the Marketing Center.

On October 25, OJSC "Invet" acted as a contractor at the subcontracting exchange. OJSC "Invet" is a manufacturer of plastic products for various fields of activity. Currently, the enterprise is the leading manufacturer of polymer products in the Republic of Belarus.

The subcontracting exchange has demonstrated in practice that this mechanism will open new markets and expand the circle of business partners. Enterprises of the Russian Federation took part in the online business event.
