The "Nut Fest-2015" has been organized for the first time in the Vitebsk region
It will be held on Saturday, August 22, in the urban settlement of Orekhovsk, Orsha district. This harvest and good mood festival is launching in the region for the first time and, according to its initiator – the head of the department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the district executive committee, Anna Svetlova, it should eventually become a good tradition and a kind of calling card for the settlement.
There are certainly all the prerequisites for this: the festival program is rich in surprises. The Order of the "Big Nut" will be awarded to the best homestead in the settlement. The experts will include not only members of the beautification commission, but also festival guests – they will be able to appreciate the enthusiasm of the homestead owners at the photo exhibition "Orekhovsk Splendor". The bright spectacle will be kicked off by the sports festival "We are strong and sturdy, like nuts" and the children's entertainment program "Three Nuts for Luck". A colorful highlight of the festival will be the performances of creative groups from the Orsha region, the "Vegetable Fantasies" sales exhibition, and craft fairs. The culmination of the program will be the "Tough Nut" competition, in which family couples from the settlement will take part. The most talented and creative will receive "Oscar"-style awards: the "Golden Nut", the "Silver Nut", and the "Bronze Nut". The 2015 festival will conclude with the "Nutty MIX" dance program.
