The Vitebsk "Monolit" developed and launched a lightning discharge protection system into production
JSC "Vitebsk Radio Components Plant "Monolit" is a modern high-tech enterprise specializing in the production of multilayer ceramic capacitors. Following trends in the global production of passive electronic components for special applications, constant efforts are made here to create products in demand by consumers.
Today, "Monolit" is the only enterprise in Belarus that has developed design documentation and begun production of new products – non-linear overvoltage limiters (OПН-п) in a polymer housing and polymer rod insulators. OПН have proven themselves as reliable and maintenance-free high-voltage devices, providing effective protection of electrical equipment insulation from lightning discharges and switching surges.
During the manufacturing of insulators, as noted by the Head of the Design and Technical Department, Alexander Likhonin, new technical solutions are used that ensure high reliability and durability of the products.
