Applications are now being accepted for the Vitebsk Listapad-2013 festival competition.

An invariable companion of autumn in the city over the Dvina is the festival-celebration of author's song "Vitebsk Listapad". The bard forum has already gathered authors-performers, musicians, and poets for the 26th time, and every autumn has opened up new names and talents.

And this "Listapad" autumn, the organizers will not deviate from their traditions: performers of the author's genre will compete for the title of laureates in three nominations: "author", "performer", "duet". As reported in the advertising department of the "Vitebsk Culture Center", applications for participation in the competition are accepted until October 15 inclusive at the address: Vitebsk, Mayakovsky Street, 1, room. 14 (a sample application can be found on the website www.gck.by).

The first competitive audition will take place on October 19 at 10:00 AM at the "Vitebsk Culture Center". Anyone can watch the participants' performances (free admission). The jury, consisting of experienced representatives of the author's genre, will determine the winners, but their names will be announced only the next day.

On October 20 at 4:00 PM, the gala concert "Musical Prospect" will be held on the same stage, which will open with a solemn award ceremony for the competition laureates. They will perform for the audience with the numbers that brought them victory. In the second part, such famous bards as Maria Grushnik (Minsk), Alesya Medvedeva, Mikhail Rubin (Vitebsk), Natalia Solovyova (Grodno), Mikhail Bashakov (Saint Petersburg), and others will appear on stage.

As part of the festival, on October 18, a solo concert by Andrey Korolev, a Vitebsk singer, poet, composer, and participant in many music competitions and television projects, will be held. The program "In the Old Town" will include the bard's best compositions. On October 19, the audience will get to know the work of Belarusian musicians better: invited artists from Minsk, Brest, Baranovichi, Grodno, Orsha, and other cities will take part in the concert "Autumn Motifs".
