Naftan is operating at full capacity

January 28, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Naftan OJSC is operating at full capacity, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee told a BELTA correspondent. Currently, Naftan OJSC has concluded agreements with major Russian companies for the supply of hydrocarbon raw materials. Since January 26, the enterprise has been operating in the normal mode, at full capacity, and is fulfilling its main task - supplying the domestic market of Belarus with petroleum products. According to the committee, the oil refinery is sufficiently supplied with raw materials, and its technical capacities are used as efficiently as possible. The enterprise continues its planned reconstruction with the participation of foreign partners and investors. The financial and economic situation of Naftan is stable. As BELTA reported earlier, Polotsktransneft Druzhba OJSC intends to pump almost 150 thousand tons of Russian oil for Naftan OJSC by the end of January. The Novopolotsk oil refinery (since September 2002 - Naftan OJSC) was commissioned in 1963. The enterprise is part of the Belneftekhim concern. It specializes in processing hydrocarbon raw materials and produces more than 70 types of products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, and automotive oils. The entire volume of diesel fuel is produced according to the Euro-4 and Euro-5 environmental standards. A significant part of the products is supplied for export. -0-
