Naftan has created a specialized transport enterprise
The unitary enterprise “Naftan-Spetstrans” opened in December on the territory of “Naftan” OJSC, the enterprise reported.
“Transport workers plan to provide services not only to the divisions of OJSC “Naftan“, but also to organizations of all forms of ownership of Novopolotsk and other cities of Belarus“, — specialists said.
The fleet of "Naftan-Spetstrans" today includes 260 vehicles of various purposes, including passenger transport, vehicles for repair and freight transportation. The staff of the new enterprise exceeds 400 people.
The Novopolotsk oil refinery was commissioned in 1963. Currently, Naftan is one of the leading producers of oil refining and petrochemical products in the European market. The enterprise produces more than 70 types of oil products and petrochemical products, including fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, lubricating oils, oil bitumens, and other products. In 2002, the enterprise was joint-stocked, and in 2008, the company was reorganized by merging with the large chemical enterprise OJSC Polimir.
