Commercial organizations provided the largest increase in payments to the budget of the Vitebsk region in January

February 27, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Commercial organizations provided the largest increase in revenue to the consolidated budget of the Vitebsk region in January 2009, the inspection of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent. Tax payments from this category of taxpayers amounted to Br46.7 billion, which is 135.8% of the January 2008 level. In total, Br345.6 billion was received into the consolidated budget of the region in January. The revenue plan was fulfilled by 120.6%, with an additional Br59 billion attracted. This includes Br191.3 billion to the republican budget (plan fulfilled by 128.2%) and Br154.2 billion to the local budget (112.4%). The largest share of revenue comes from state enterprises and organizations, which formed 80.2% of the revenue part of the consolidated budget of the region. In January, taxpayers of state ownership paid Br277.2 billion in tax payments to the budget, which is 110.1% of the January 2008 level. Commercial organizations provided 13.5% of the revenue. In general, their number increased by almost 1.3 thousand entities, and their share in the total revenue increased by 2.5 percentage points. Payments from individual entrepreneurs decreased by almost a third and accounted for 1.9% of budget revenues. One of the reasons for the reduction in revenue from this category of taxpayers is the transition to a simplified tax system by an additional approximately 2 thousand individual entrepreneurs this year. At the same time, out of 870 business entities that ended 2008 with losses (6% of the registered number), more than 80% are enterprises of the non-state sector of the economy. Moreover, while the number of loss-making organizations decreased by 57 entities, the amount of losses almost doubled to Br150 billion. As of February 1, the debt of business entities in the Vitebsk region for budget payments amounted to Br33.4 billion and increased by Br0.7 billion compared to the beginning of the year. The low payment discipline of taxpayers in 6 districts of the region, including 2 districts of the regional center, had a negative impact on revenue collection, and these districts together increased their budget debts by more than Br1 billion. In total, almost 3.5 thousand state enterprises and organizations, about 11.4 thousand legal entities of non-state ownership, almost 30 thousand individual entrepreneurs, as well as 397.5 thousand individuals participate in the formation of the revenue part of the consolidated budget of the region. -0-
