Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Tozik called for not only putting forward fresh ideas in the Year of Entrepreneurship, but also for seeking ways to implement them. He expressed his point of view at a reception of citizens in the Senno district, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, it is time to revise the algorithm of relations between the state and the citizen. "We should not wait for the state to do something for people. We need to do something ourselves, and then raise issues with the state about removing obstacles that hinder the implementation of useful ideas," Anatoly Tozik said. The country faces a serious task of increasing gross domestic product by 10-12% annually. To fulfill it, significant funds must be invested in the modernization of production. The social sphere in Belarus is sufficiently developed, so in the next five-year period, more attention should be paid to the economy, and non-standard ideas should be put forward and implemented more boldly. -0-
