Natalia Kochanova introduced the new head to the Naftan team

Communicating with journalists after the meeting with the enterprise's staff, the Head of the Presidential Administration noted that Alexander Demidov is a native of Novopolotsk and began his working career at "Naftan". "He started at this plant as a mechanic and left as deputy general director. He continued his career at the Belarusian Oil Company, so both "Naftan" itself and oil refining in general are well known to him. He is a professional in his field who enjoys authority," Natalya Kochanova said.

She expressed confidence that the new head will take all measures to fulfill the tasks that are currently facing the enterprise. "And this is, first of all, the completion of the initiated modernization. The upgrade will allow the plant to increase production volumes and move to deeper oil refining," stated the Head of the Presidential Administration.

Another equally important task is the coordinated work of the staff. "Novopolotsk oil refinery is a serious enterprise with about 10.5 thousand employees. It is a landmark city-forming enterprise. I am confident that the new head will be able to organize work in such a way that every member of the staff is focused on the common result for the enterprise. By fulfilling common tasks, "Naftan" will have the opportunity to support its employees with salaries and solve social issues," Natalya Kochanova noted.
