Точки роста и строительства, как подчеркнул недавно Президент, именно здесь - в регионах нашей страны. Поэтому Верхнедвинску развиваться!
Совет Республики - орган территориального представительства. И мы, проводя мероприятия под эгидой Совета Республики, должны координировать работу депутатского корпуса всех уровней.
Законодательная деятельность
Работая над законопроектами, нам очень важно знать то, что происходит на местах. Мы должны четко понимать, как законы будут реализовываться, ведь они будут работать на всю нашу страну.
Поэтому в Совете Республики действует Совет по взаимодействию органов местного самоуправления, работает экспертно-консультативный совет, экспертный совет. Мы выносим на рассмотрение очень важные, актуальные вопросы, которые задают люди нам.
Работа с людьми
5 мая мы проведем единый день приема граждан в Брестской области. Недавно проводили в Витебской области. Конечно, вопросов, с которыми обращаются граждане, много. Люди обращаются с вопросами житейскими - об улучшении жилищных условий, ремонте дорог, мостов...
Today, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova is on a working visit to the Vitebsk region.
The first stop on the itinerary was JSC "Verkhnedvinsk Dairy and Canning Plant". The agenda included a meeting with the work collective and an introduction to the enterprise's activities.
First and foremost, Natalya Kochanova congratulated the work collective on the inclusion of the Verkhnedvinsk district on the Republican Honor Board: "This is evidence that the Verkhnedvinsk district is working successfully."

The Council of the Republic is a body of territorial representation. And we, by holding events under the auspices of the Council of the Republic, must coordinate the work of the deputy corps at all levels.
Legislative activity
When working on draft laws, it is very important for us to know what is happening on the ground. We must clearly understand how the laws will be implemented, as they will work for our entire country.
Therefore, the Council of the Republic has a Council for Interaction with Local Self-Government Bodies, an Expert Advisory Council, and an Expert Council. We bring very important, relevant issues that people raise to our attention for consideration.
Working with people
On May 5, we will hold a unified day of reception of citizens in the Brest region. We recently held one in the Vitebsk region. Of course, there are many issues that citizens raise. People turn to us with everyday issues – about improving housing conditions, repairing roads, bridges...
The government hears the people, sees their problems, and strives to solve them in a timely manner.
The economy first and foremost.
If there is money in the budget, there will be an opportunity to solve all the tasks facing the state. Our Constitution states that we are a socially oriented state. This means we must live and work in such a way that our people become more comfortable living year after year. All conditions for this are created in our country today. The President told us: if we want to live in peace and harmony, everyone must do their job at their workplace.
If we form the budget, we can afford to increase pensions, benefits, average wages, and solve all the tasks undertaken by the state: healthcare, education, culture, and the security of our country, which is very important.
Everything ultimately depends on the state of the country's economy, the work of which is ensured by many enterprises, including the Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory. It is very important to understand that the successful operation of enterprises like yours is a contribution to the development of the entire country.
In an open dialogue format, the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic listened to the employees of the enterprise and answered numerous questions.
The main leitmotif of the conversation was the unconditional value of peace and tranquility in Belarus, which everyone can preserve together through conscientious work and sincere patriotism.
Accompanied by the factory director Svetlana Chivirnova, Natalya Kochanova visited the cheese production workshop.
The history of the Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory is a long and challenging journey from united butter factories to one of the most advanced enterprises in its industry. Waste-free production is established here: cream is separated from milk and used to make butter, cheese is made from milk, and whey is dried and sold for export.
The association includes eight organizations, six of which are agricultural. The holding company is implementing several large investment projects simultaneously. The construction of a dairy farm for 800 milking cows is being completed in the settlement of Kokhanovichi, which will additionally provide the processing enterprise with 5 thousand tons of milk per year.
