This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of the National Bank, Nadezhda Ermakova, in the House of Representatives, according to a BELTA correspondent. "The National Bank is not yet working on this issue. We believe that it is premature to talk about it in 2012. The main task this year is to cope with inflation, to stop its growth at least to the level defined by the main directions of economic development this year and monetary policy. During periods of high inflation, one cannot deal with other issues. And there is no urgent need to carry out denomination in 2012," Nadezhda Ermakova said. "However, considering the growth of population incomes, the increase in the amount of money, the growth of the Belarusian economy and the increase in production, we believe that somewhere in 2013 we can already start talking, start thinking and, possibly, during 2013, prepare for denomination. This is serious work. Including new money should be prepared," the head of the National Bank noted.
