Национальный исторический музей Беларуси готовит два проекта к Евроиграм-2019 в Минске
The National Historical Museum of Belarus is preparing two major projects for the participants of the II European Games.

The exhibition "Our Beloved Land – Belarus" will showcase ethnographic items, folk arts and crafts from the collections of the National Historical Museum and will be aimed at foreign tourists.

"In parallel, within the same exhibition space, we will display works by contemporary visual artists: painting, graphics, textiles, and ceramics. We will actually show the traditions and features of Belarusian artistic culture, which is fundamentally important for us," noted the museum's director, Pavel Sapotsko.

The second project will be the Belarusian Cultural Center in the Athletes' Village, consisting of three blocks. The first will feature an interactive exhibition, showcasing two multimedia projections – the Krevsky Castle and images of museum rarities. The second space will house various photo zones with tamtamoresques, and master classes on belt weaving and ceramic item creation will be held. The third zone will sell souvenir products and book publications.

"Thus, we will organize a real cultural hub in the Athletes' Village. After all, the competition participants will have a tight schedule. And our goal is to diversify their leisure time as much as possible during the short breaks between training sessions, press conferences, sports tournaments, and meetings," said Pavel Sapotsko.
