This was announced today at a press conference dedicated to the forum by the Head of the Culture Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Petr Podgursky.

"The Ministry of Culture has come up with the initiative to hold the national qualifying round not in Minsk, as usual, but in Orsha. The preliminary date for its holding has been set for March 16," said Petr Podgursky.

The participants will perform two songs each. "A huge amount of work is being done with the children, because the children's contest is the highlight of the "Slavianski Bazaar," it is a whole celebration that is gaining popularity every year," he added.

This year, the festival will be held from July 8 to 17. The grand opening ceremony and gala concert of the forum will take place in the Summer Amphitheater on July 11, and the closing ceremony on July 15.
