The Braslav Lakes National Park invites you to have your wedding on a ship
May 22, Minsk /BelTA/. Braslav Lakes National Park invites couples to celebrate their wedding on a ship. This was announced to BelTA correspondent by Vladimir Petkevich, leading specialist of the environmental institution's tourism department.
He explained that wedding celebrations are mainly held at a recreation facility located near Lake Drivyaty. However, at the client's request, the newlyweds, their parents, and invited guests can move to a two-deck pleasure boat.
"A wedding is a very important event for a future family, and we want to make it truly memorable. A ship and a cruise on picturesque lakes will add a special flair to the celebration," noted Vladimir Petkevich.
In addition to the celebration on the ship, the national park's management has also prepared other unusual offers. For example, in the near future, everyone will be offered to celebrate their wedding on an island. "We still need to put it in order. But if there are those who wish to get married there, we will meet them halfway," admitted Andrei Kudin, acting general director.
Braslav Lakes National Park is located in the northwest of Belarus. Its total area is 69.1 thousand hectares. The beauty and aesthetic value of the region are given by its lakes. The largest of them are Drivyaty, Snudy, Strusto, Voiso, Nedrovo, Nespish. Rare bird species such as the black stork, grey crane, silver gull, white partridge, dunlin, and Ural owl inhabit the national park. The park's flora includes about 500 different species of plants, 32 of which are listed in the Red Book of Belarus. -0-
