A new rector has been appointed to VSU named after P.M. Masherov

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko approved the appointment of Alexey Egorov as Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov.

Before this, Alexey Vladimirovich served as Dean of the Faculty of Law at Polotsk State University. He was born on December 16, 1969. He holds a higher education degree in "Jurisprudence". He holds a Candidate of Law degree, is an Associate Professor, and a member of the Council for Educational and Methodological Association for Humanitarian Education at Belarusian State University. He is the Chairman of the arbitration court of the Novopolotsk Arbitration Chamber, where he handles issues of private international law and foreign economic contracts.
