A new head of the Senno district has been appointed

On June 30, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko approved the appointment of Vasily Cherednik as the Chairman of the Sennensky District Executive Committee. The new head was approved at an extraordinary meeting of the District Council of Deputies.

Vasily Anatolyevich was born in 1981 in the city of Gorki, Mogilev region. However, his entire, albeit not yet long, working life has been dedicated to the Vitebsk region. After graduating from the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy in Gorki with a degree in "Agricultural Mechanization" he began working as an engineer-power engineer at OJSC "Beshenkovichi Flax Mill" (incidentally, a little later at the same university he obtained a second specialty – "Management of Organizations and Subdivisions of the Agro-Industrial Complex"). Then he was the head of workshops and the machine yard, chief engineer of KUPSHP "Ostrovno", manager of the department of ChUSP "Svitino VMK". For two years he headed ChUSP "AgroVitVin" of the Beshenkovichi district. Before being appointed as the head of the Sennensky District Executive Committee, he worked as the First Deputy Chairman – Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Lepel District Executive Committee. During this time, he proved himself to be a competent specialist, a principled and demanding leader, capable of deeply analyzing the situation, showing initiative and perseverance in resolving emerging pr

problem. That is precisely why it was decided to entrust the Sennensky district to a young man who is in the personnel reserve of the regional executive committee.

As the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, noted, the region that Vasily Cherednik inherited is not an easy one. To date, the governor is not satisfied with the pace of its socio-economic development. Alexander Nikolaevich emphasized the need to create new enterprises, introduce innovations, produce high value-added products, attract investments, invest money wisely in modernization, and pay special attention to the technological processes of the agro-industrial complex. Behind all this lies the opportunity to earn money, not to exist on subsidies. And this means improving people's well-being. The head of the region noted that the social sphere also needs attention and financial investment. We are talking about educational, sports, and cultural facilities, for example, the school in Litousovo, which is still not completed. We must not forget about tourism, because Sennensky district is a beautiful land with a glorious history, which can and should attract guests and provide them with comfortable conditions for recreation.

– When all this is in place, then young people will not leave the region, they will stay where people are cared for, where there is everything necessary for life. The development of the economy and the social sphere is the key to demographic security, – emphasized Alexander Nikolaevich.

Vasily Cherednik understands that he bears a great responsibility for the region and its residents, whom he assured: the interests of the Sennensky land and the safety of citizens will be paramount for him.

– First of all, what needs to be done in our district is to study the activities of each enterprise, develop a regional development strategy, analyze problematic issues, and eliminate them in the shortest possible time. The tasks are defined, as is the ultimate goal – the well-being of the residents of Sennensky district, – noted the new leader.
