The laureates of the regional prize "Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2018" have been named
As reported to vitvesti.by by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, 50 people became laureates in five nominations: "Industry, Trade and Services, Financial Activities, Small and Medium-sized Businesses", "Agro-industrial Complex, Environmental Protection, Forestry", "Housing and Communal Services and Road Management, Construction and Architecture, Fuel and Energy Complex, Communications, Transport and Telecommunications", "Social Sphere (Social Protection of the Population, Culture, Education, Science, Sports, Healthcare, Youth)", "Ensuring Legality and Law and Order, Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations, Activities of Local Government and Self-Government Bodies, Public Organizations".
We remind you that this award has been presented to the best workers of the Vitebsk region since 2009. Initially, the list of candidates included a hundred people, recognized in 20 nominations.
The new procedure for awarding the honorary title is determined by the decision of the Regional Executive Committee dated October 5, 2017, No. 614.
In total, since the establishment of the award, it has been presented to 1,000 residents of the region who have achieved high results in various fields of activity and have made a significant contribution to the development of the region.
The awarding ceremony for the winners of the "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2018" award will take place on February 8 at the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall, with the participation of the region's leadership.
