The unfinished Yurovichi boarding house in the Vitebsk region has a new owner

November 15, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. The unfinished construction facility "Yurovichy psycho-neurological boarding house for 315 people" will be put into economic circulation by a domestic investor based on the results of an auction held today by the Vitebsk Regional Property Fund. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Larisa Shcheglova, head of the fund's auctions and competitions department. Since only one participant applied for the lot, the announced auction for the sale of state property for one base value was declared invalid. However, in accordance with Decree No. 232 of May 5, 2009 "On Certain Issues of Conducting Auctions (Competitions)", the organizers offered the sole bidder to purchase the lot of interest at a price exceeding the initial one by 5%. As a result, nine unfinished buildings, as well as engineering infrastructure facilities, were sold to the new owner for almost Br551.3 thousand. The buyer undertakes to use the real estate for entrepreneurial activities and create at least 10 jobs. All real estate is located on a land plot with a total area of over 9 hectares. The readiness of the unfinished buildings is 23%, including the main building of the boarding house - 21%. The construction of the social facility began in the 1990s in a forest area 25 km from Polotsk. However, the construction was subsequently frozen due to financing problems. After the district authorities showed no interest in the property, the Vitebsk Regional Property Fund put the facility up for auction. Since 2004, almost 10 auctions have been held, including using the method of reducing the initial price, but all auctions were unsuccessful. It was possible to attract an investor to the facility after setting the initial price of the lot at one base value. In total, in January-October, the Vitebsk Regional Property Fund held more than 20 successful auctions, during which 78 real estate objects located on 32 land plots were sold for a total amount of over Br1.6 billion. This includes more than 50 real estate objects sold at auctions with an initial price set at one base value. -0-
