The unfinished Ignat Buyntsky Museum in the Glubokoye district is put up for auction
April 13, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The unfinished Ignat Buyanitsky museum in the village of Prozorki, Gluboksky district, has been put up for auction, the head of the auctions and tenders department of the Vitebsk Regional Territorial Fund for State Property "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" Larisa Shcheglova told a BELTA correspondent.
The unfinished construction object can be purchased at auction for one base unit on April 20 (currently, one base unit is Br35 thousand). The buyer will have to organize entrepreneurial activities here and create new jobs.
As the first deputy chairman of the Gluboksky District Executive Committee, Vinaliy Petkevich, noted in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent, it was decided to build a house-museum of the founder of the Belarusian professional theater in his homeland in the Gluboksky district in the mid-90s of the last century. At that time, the foundation of the building was laid and one wall slightly over a meter high was erected, but due to lack of funds, it was not possible to complete the construction and open the museum. Despite the fact that the long-term construction project has been put up for auction, the local authorities do not intend to abandon the idea of perpetuating the memory of their countryman. According to Vinaliy Petkevich, the issue of allocating premises or a separate building in Prozorki, where Buyanitsky's troupe began to perform, for an exhibition exposition is being considered.
In 2008, "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" sold 55 unused buildings in small towns and rural areas for one base unit. The first auction this year, held on April 3, was also successful. The vacant building of the former shopping center in the village of Gili, Chashniksky district, was sold for Br525 thousand, which is almost 3 times higher than the initial cost. According to Larisa Shcheglova, the demand for unused real estate is due to the conditions that the state has created for the development of entrepreneurial initiative in rural areas and small towns. -0-
