October 26, Vitebsk /Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. An illegal batch of electronic data carriers worth Br205 million was seized in the Braslav district, the Vitebsk customs informed a BELTA correspondent. The cargo was discovered during special operations conducted by customs officers jointly with employees of the Polotsk border detachment, the Polotsk tax inspectorate, and the Braslav District Department of Internal Affairs. During the inspection of outbuildings in the residential area of the urban settlement of Vidzy, officers stumbled upon a warehouse of goods manufactured in EU countries. In total, the premises, unsuitable for storage, contained over 3.7 thousand new gaming flash drives, almost 60 compact discs for game consoles, and 6.3 thousand CD cases.
