An unusual shipment of window blocks worth Br21 million was detained in the Lepel district

November 19, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. An illegal shipment of window units has been seized in the Lepel district, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Department's Information and Public Relations Department informed a BELTA correspondent. During a special operation by employees of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for the Lepel district and the State Automobile Inspectorate, a Mercedes-Benz car driven by a 33-year-old individual entrepreneur from Polotsk was detained. He was transporting 58 wooden window units worth a total of Br21 million without proper documentation. The same group detained a Renault car containing about 300 rolls of polymer film worth Br400 thousand. The driver of the car also failed to present the necessary documents for the cargo. In both cases, administrative protocols were drawn up under Part 4 of Article 12.17 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Belarus.-0-
