There is no conflict between Belarus and Russia, except for disagreements between politicians - A. Lukashenko
August 26, Minsk / Tatyana Polozhay - BELTA /. There is no conflict between Belarus and Russia, except for disagreements between politicians. This opinion was expressed today by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the Governor of the Kursk region of Russia Alexander Mikhailov, BELTA correspondent reports.
"There is absolutely no conflict between Belarus and Russia, no conflict between Russians and Belarusians, and there can be none. Everything that happens is absolutely subjective. It is a personal conflict, so perceive it that way," the head of state said.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that he does not intend to react to the attacks in the Russian media regarding him personally and the country. "I am increasingly being pushed to somehow react to what is happening in the media regarding me and Belarus. I am not going to do that," the Belarusian leader said. He also added that all the dirt that has been poured out in Russia, "concerns not Belarus and the Belarusian president, it is a film about them." "They want everyone to be like that. Therefore, we will not allow any reaction to the dirt from Belarus, no matter how many such films are made," the President noted.
Alexander Lukashenko once again stressed that "there is no force and no politicians who could break our friendship, our brotherhood. "You should know: whether politicians want it or not, Russians and Belarusians cannot be torn apart," he said. The head of state noted that he says this not because, as many believe, "Belarus and Lukashenko have nowhere to go." "The world is huge, you just need to make a move in the right direction," the President said. - Belarus has not been alone and will not remain alone. Only I don't know if it will be beneficial for the Russian leadership. That it will be unprofitable for our peoples is a fact."
Addressing the Governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Lukashenko proposed to "leave all the dirt aside" and stressed that in Belarus they will find reliable partners ready to provide any assistance. "We have no orientation to the left or to the right. We are absolutely reliable and steadfast partners," he said. -0-
