Nikolai Cherginets revealed the secret of his creative activity
July 12, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Belarusian writer and statesman Nikolai Cherginets shared his secret of creative activity. He spoke about this at a creative meeting with nominees for the Union State Prize in Literature and Art for 2009-2010, which took place today in festival Vitebsk, BELTA correspondent reports.
Before answering, Nikolai Cherginets said that he had "heard this question from his superiors more than once." It is not easy to combine literary activity and public service, he shared. "However, if a person truly wants to write, they will write: they will take advantage of any opportunity and every free minute. I wrote on trams, during work breaks and in the evenings, and on weekends I just write voraciously," he noted.
Nikolai Cherginets is one of the most widely read Russian-language authors in the CIS countries. The writer is a laureate of the A. Fadeev Literary Prize (1990) and the V.
