Nikolai Sherstnev congratulated the combine harvesters of the "SGTS "Zadneprovsky" branch on their worthy result
The combine harvester crew of the "SGTS "Zadneprovsky" branch, Sergey Grekov and Dmitry Videvich, were the first in the Vitebsk region to thresh more than a thousand tons of rapeseed and the same amount of grain.
The agricultural workers were congratulated on their worthy results in the grain fields by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolay Sherstnev, the Aide to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich, the Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Isachenko, and the regional and district committees of the Agro-Industrial Complex Workers' Union.
The grain growers literally stopped the combine for 15 minutes. During the peak harvest season, every minute is worth its weight in gold. The improvised congratulatory ceremony was filled with warmth and sincerity from the very first minutes. Nikolay Sherstnev was glad to meet them. He firmly shakes the hands of Sergey Grekov and Dmitry Videvich, inquiring about how the work is progressing and how the agricultural workers are feeling.
– What do you think distinguishes an experienced person? – Nikolay Nikolayevich addresses the combine operators. – For him, victory is a foregone conclusion. Therefore, I wish your results to multiply every year. Please accept my sincere congratulations!
Indeed, for Sergey Grekov, each harvest season is marked by new successes and achievements. The current year is no exception. A combine operator with over forty years of experience, he consistently holds leading positions in the harvest season. He has been repeatedly recognized at the "Dozhinki" festival-fair of rural workers and is a laureate of the title "Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region." For his assistant, Dmitry Videvich, however, this harvest has been a successful debut and a good incentive for his work.
