A new gas station has opened in Vitebsk
A new filling station of RUP "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblenefteprodukt", located on 14th Polotskaya Street in the regional center, is welcoming its first visitors. The grand opening of this facility took place on Independence Day.
The construction of the filling station, which received an investment of 17.5 billion rubles (all amounts are pre-denomination), began in November last year. The new roadside service facility, operating 24/7, has created an additional 12 jobs, according to Alexander Kapshul, Director of RUP "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblenefteprodukt".
The station is equipped with modern technological equipment that fully complies with all safety and quality standards for service provision. It can refuel 250 vehicles with gasoline of various octane ratings and diesel fuel per day.
— Considering that most of our facilities were built in the 70s-80s, further investment is needed in their modernization, expansion of the range of services, installation of modern technological and service equipment, and automation of the process of receiving, accounting, and dispensing petroleum products. This year, the reconstruction of filling station No. 52 in the settlement of Vysokoye, Orsha district, on the M1 highway Brest - Minsk - Russian Federation border is planned, — noted Alexander Kapshul.
A wide range of services makes filling stations more attractive to visitors, as noted during the grand opening ceremony of the new facility. Today, a filling station is not only an opportunity to refuel but also to use services that are essential on the road.
The regional leadership emphasized the need to develop comprehensive services at the region's filling stations, including catering facilities, retail outlets, and playgrounds.
