A new unified electronic ticketing system has come into effect in Belarus
August 25, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. A new unified electronic ticket sales system has started operating in Belarus. This was reported to BelTA correspondent by Olga Kisel, marketing specialist at JV "Kvitki Bel" LLC.
The unified resource, the website kvitki.by, contains all information about events and activities taking place not only in Belarus but also abroad (festivals, concerts, theater performances, cinema, sports events, etc.). This is an electronic, centralized, real-time ticket distribution system in Minsk.
The Belarusian company adopted the experience of its Lithuanian colleagues. In addition, a similar ticket sales system has proven itself in Ukraine. According to statistics, about 50% of tickets are sold through electronic systems.
Customers have the opportunity to choose their desired seat and book a ticket online after reviewing the seating plan of the hall and the number of remaining tickets. One can become a ticket holder by presenting the booking code at sales points. Ticket delivery by courier service is also available. A single hotline operates.
In Belarus, a unified electronic ticket sales system of the international company Ticketpro has been operating since September 2009. -0-
