A new cheese production line has been commissioned at JSC "Verkhnedzvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory"
The expansion of production was planned last year, and by February 2017, the idea was realized. Thus, the plant's capacity has been increased from 180 to 240 tons of milk processing per day.
The supplier of the new equipment is an Austrian company. As well as the previous automated line for cheese production, thanks to which a capacity of 180 tons of milk processing per day was achieved, and a unique closed automated cheese-making process was established with strict quality control throughout the entire technological chain – from raw material acceptance to the ripening of the final product. The equipment has proven itself excellently, so it is not surprising that this time they chose Austria again. The line was commissioned by specialists from the country of origin.
– The main types of products manufactured on this equipment are rennet cheeses: with a low second heating temperature – cheeses of the Russian, Dutch group, with propionic acid bacteria, and with a high temperature – "Parmesan Classic" and "Asiago", – told Natalia Kashchaeva, chief technologist of OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory".
An increase in the enterprise's capacity will allow for an increase in production volume. Currently, more than 20 types of cheeses of various fat content, with fillers, as well as butter, dry whey with different degrees of demineralization and nanofiltration are produced here. That is, thanks to the modernization carried out, waste-free production has been organized, and the Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory was a pioneer in this direction. Following the needs of customers, they began to produce packaged, grated, smoked, and processed cheeses. Currently, about 70% of the products are exported.
– Our main market is the Russian Federation. We are not focused on a specific region, but on the widest possible range of the market as a whole. To solve this task
concluded agreements with major distribution companies with many years of experience in the Russian cheese market and a wide network of trade partners across the country. Therefore, Verkhnedvinsk cheeses can now be purchased not only in Moscow or St. Petersburg, but also in many cities from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, – noted Natalia Grigoryevna. – Also in 2016, supplies of products to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine were carried out.The quality of the products and recognition in the foreign market are evidenced by the results of the largest international exhibition in Russia and Eastern Europe, "Prodexpo-2017", which took place in February in Moscow. Environmentally friendly cheeses and butter from OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory" won three gold and four silver medals. Gold awards in the popular tasting competition "Best Taste – 2017" were given to "Monarch" and "Verkhnedvinsk Spicy" cheeses with "Tsar's Mix" seasoning and sweet cream chocolate butter "Mumula".
