Belarus's new development program creates conditions for youth self-realization – participant of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly

November 29, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The draft of the new development program for Belarus for the next five years creates the necessary conditions for realizing the abilities and talents of young people. This point of view was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by the first secretary of the Vitebsk regional committee of the BRSM, a participant in the IV All-Belarusian People's Assembly, Dmitry Khoma. The youth leader admitted that he feels special excitement, participating for the first time in such an important forum for the country as the All-Belarusian Assembly. "Participants bear a huge responsibility, because the future of the country will depend on their decisions, which is why it is so important that the project is submitted for public discussion," believes Dmitry Khoma. The very fact that the accessibility of healthcare, education, science, culture and sports services, which will provide opportunities for the comprehensive development of a person, regardless of their place of residence, remains a priority for the country, is evidence that the state cares about its future, noted the first secretary of the regional committee. Another important provision of the program is the support for the institution of the family and the stimulation of childbirth, including through the provision of preferential loans for housing construction. "For many young families with children, obtaining a housing loan remains a problem, and yet owning a home is a guarantee that the family will be established, and children will continue to be born in it," believes Dmitry Khoma. According to the interlocutor, the program correctly emphasizes the introduction of European forms into the educational process. This will affect both the training of young specialists and the development of economic processes in the country. The largest youth organization in the Vitebsk region will face the task of uniting active, indifferent young men and women in the coming five years. At the same time, the organization does not intend to close its doors to representatives of so-called informal movements. As Dmitry Khoma noted, recently they have begun to show sincere interest in the work of the BRSM and participate in the actions of the public organization. The regional organization of the BRSM has almost 65 thousand members, and about 2.3 thousand primary organizations operate. -0-
