A new modern dairy farm will be built in June in the Vitebsk region

The foreign enterprise with Russian capital "Detskoselsky Gorodok" is expanding its dairy production in the Gorodok district.

In June last year, the "Virovlyansky" branch of the FE "Detskoselsky Gorodok" began the construction of a dairy farm for 1.8 thousand head of dairy cattle in the village of Selishche. Using its own funds and credit resources from the Development Bank, 98 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes, with 64 billion spent on the purchase of machinery and equipment. As reported by the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Gorodok District Executive Committee, the opening of the farm is planned for June of this year.

The launch of the livestock facility will create new jobs, which will positively affect the socio-economic development of the region. The Russian investor has developed effective business experience over eight years of operation in the Gorodok region. As Leonid Gordetsky, director of the "Virovlyansky" branch of the FE "Detskoselsky Gorodok", noted, at the dairy complex in the village of Virovlya, using advanced technologies and innovations, livestock breeders annually increase milk production and hold leading positions in production competitions.
