A new stage for local talents. A House of Culture has been built in the Glubokoye district
The solemn opening of the rural House of Culture took place in the agro-town of Chernevichi, Gluboksky district. Even at the first concert, there were no free seats in the auditorium. Local residents are confident that this will continue in the future.
10 years ago, the building, which was in a dilapidated state, was closed for safety reasons. But cultural life did not cease – artists from the district center and the neighboring village of Prozorki came. The library was temporarily located in the school. The Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Andreichenko, and the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Oleg Morkhat, came to share the joy with the villagers. Greeting them with a magnificent loaf of bread, the elder of the village, Benigna Alexandrovich, noted that this is a significant event for adults and children. During the opening ceremony, words of gratitude were expressed to those whose efforts made it possible to erect the modern building. Among those present was Galina Shiman, a resident of the neighboring village of Zamkhovo, who was the director of the former House of Culture in Chernevichi for 27 years.
– There are many talents in our land, – says Galina Ignatievna. – If you gather all the creative and initiative villagers, the stage will not be enough. For example, Tomash Mitko and Franz Shinkevich play the bayan wonderfully, and Elena Martynovich sings touchingly and sensually.
About 50 kilometers separate Chernevichi from the district center, but thanks to the created social infrastructure, this distance is not a reason for sadness for local residents. There is a shop, a secondary school, a paramedic-obstetric station, and a library. Not so long ago, a playground appeared on the site of a long-term construction project in the center of the agro-town. Villagers actively participate in the improvement of the village, but, of course, without the help of the authorities, it would be extremely difficult to implement all the plans.
Culture workers are confident that the House of Culture will not be empty. Children and adults are eager to attend various clubs and participate in amateur art activities. The necessary equipment and musical instruments have been purchased.
On this day, an exhibition was set up in the foyer of the House of Culture. Masters from Glubokoe presented crafts made of linen, straw, wood, and clay. For example, Lyubov Zhuk, a resident of the agro-town, showcased her works made from bright ribbons, paper, beads, and other improvised materials.
More than 6 billion rubles were spent on the construction of the House of Culture and library building. But the funds were not spent in vain.
– One should never regret money for such purposes, – emphasized Vladimir Andreichenko, – because culture will always repay what is invested in it, and will raise an educated person. It is important to distract young people from bad habits, to create the necessary conditions for sports, and the development of creative abilities. It is good that a lot of work is being done in this direction in the Glubokoe region, and new social facilities are being opened.
In a conversation with the villagers, Vladimir Pavlovich noted that those who want to see the true beauty of our country should visit the hinterland, the district centers, and the agro-towns. Recently, they have been transformed and have become more beautiful. There is a special atmosphere here that you cannot feel in the capital.
There are over 420 residents in Chernevichi. 80 students attend the school, and two dozen children attend kindergarten. This is the future of the village. In addition, villagers are always happy to see visiting young specialists, who are provided with housing and comfortable conditions for work and rest.
