Новое здание детской школы искусств торжественно открыли в Ушачах
The current academic year, the Ushachi District Children's Art School began in a new building, which was solemnly opened on September 1.

This event had been awaited for many years. As the director of the educational institution, Sergey Parashkin, said, for many years the school was cramped in an adapted premises, which lacked educational space, and classes had to be held in different locations. Teachers, together with the district leadership, appealed to their deputy – the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Vladimir Andreichenko – with a request to help solve this problem. The building of the old school in the urban settlement was empty, which was ideally suited for reconstruction into a palace of muses.

Vladimir Andreichenko took this facility under his control, one might say, he supervised the progress of the reconstruction. When visiting Ushachi on parliamentary affairs, he invariably visited the construction site. And, of course, he could not miss the moment of the grand opening of the new home for young talents.

– This is a significant gift from the state to the Ushachi district, natives of which have made a weighty contribution to the culture of Belarus. Young talents bring glory to their native land. Not all students of the school will tie their lives to art. This is not so important; the main thing is that they become worthy people, grow up as patriots, preserve, cherish, and multiply the culture of their people, – noted the head of the lower house of parliament.

The school's housewarming became a real celebration for the district center, which was attended not only by its students and their parents but also by many residents of the urban settlement. The director of the House of Crafts, Yury Pashkovich, carved a symbolic key out of wood, and the department of ideology, culture, and youth affairs of the district executive committee presented a forged grand piano, which was installed in front of the temple of arts.

After the honored guests, including the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev, together with the head of the district Vladimir Avdoshko, cut the red ribbon, an excursion through the classrooms began. Children at the school study in three areas: music, choreography, and fine arts. Branches are open in the agro-towns of Orekhovno and Glybochka. The total number of students is 345. The majority of teachers, including the director, are graduates of the Ushachi School of Arts. Among the students are scholarship holders of the republican fund for supporting talented youth. The folk instrument orchestra and choir, created at the educational institution, have been awarded the title of exemplary.

The housewarming celebration concluded with a performance by young talents. Now they have their own real concert hall, where, judging by the enthusiastic support for the young artists from the first spectators, sold-out performances are guaranteed.

On Knowledge Day, Vladimir Andreichenko also visited the Velikodoltsy kindergarten – secondary school named after Petrus Brovka. This educational institution is one of the best in the region and is listed on the district's Honor Board. Students, together with teachers, participate in various projects and competitions – business ideas, environmental focus, and others. This year, the school took first place in the district for its preparation for the academic year.

The Speaker attended the opening ceremony, conducted the first lesson for first-graders, and presented the school with an interactive whiteboard, which will allow students to better absorb knowledge using modern digital technologies.
