Новое здание Первомайского РОВД открыли в Витебске
A new administrative building of the internal affairs department of the Pervomaysky District administration has been solemnly opened in Vitebsk. Law enforcement officers moved from the building on Chernyakhovsky Avenue to Stroiteley Avenue, 3B. The updated facility meets modern standards. The building also has classrooms for the patrol and post service and district inspectors.

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Yuri Karaev, congratulated his colleagues on the housewarming. He inspected the building's renovation and talked with his subordinates. "Given the specifics of our work, we spend a lot of time on duty. It is important that the workplace is comfortable, as this affects well-being, mood, and work results. Despite our difficult work, we must treat people with respect in all situations," noted the head of the department.

The minister wished the staff of the district department success in their service, professional growth, and presented them with the keys to a Geely Atlas car as a gift from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Employees of the Pervomaysky District Department of Internal Affairs serve the largest district in the city with a population of about 200,000 people. Now all departments of the unit are under one roof, which will also be convenient for citizens.

The Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, Viktor Nikolaikin, said that the appearance of the new department building had been in progress for several years. "There were different options. Modernizing the old department building required significant funds. Then it was proposed to build a new one, but this also involved considerable costs. As a result, it was decided to renovate the building of the city communication hub that had been closed at one time," said the mayor. Gradually, working conditions for police officers will be updated in other cities of Belarus as well.
