A new prosecutor's office building has opened in Liozno

— Despite economic difficulties, the country's leadership is seeking funds to strengthen the material and technical base of the prosecutor's offices. The appearance of this facility is a clear example of this, — said Prosecutor General of Belarus Alexander Konyuk, who was present at the event. — Work occupies a significant place in a person's life, and working conditions play an important role in productivity, especially for prosecutors: they have to be on duty for 12 hours or more. Therefore, I am confident that now in Liozno region, as in Belarus as a whole, there is everything necessary for a prosecutor to ensure the triumph of law.

In addition to Alexander Vladimirovich, the opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Alexander Atyasov, representatives of the district executive committee, the regional prosecutor's office, and related departments. — Based on the year-end results, it can be noted that the Vitebsk region has been dynamically developing in all sectors of the national economy. Great attention is paid to the work of law enforcement agencies, with which we closely cooperate. For example, the prosecutor's office points out to us where there are shortcomings in the protection of citizens' rights and interests, — said Alexander Egorovich. — Therefore, this event is important not only for the Liozno region but also for the region and for the whole of Belarus. The appearance of a modern facility in the center of the urban-type settlement became possible thanks to the State Program for the Construction and Reconstruction of Buildings of Prosecutor's Offices for 2011-2015 and cost about 4 billion rubles. Specialists from LLC "SK "Rumstroy" built the facility in six months. It has everything for the fruitful work of civil servants, the offices are equipped with the latest computer equipment, and areas for document storage are allocated. Visitors, including those with disabilities, will also feel comfortable, for whom a ramp and a separate toilet are provided.

The new building, which has become a real adornment of Liozno, is located on Lenin Street, opposite the district court. The former registration place of the prosecutor's office employees will not fall into disrepair either – the State Automobile Inspectorate will occupy it.
