medical dynasties – the Sosnovik brothers and their wives, the Sharafanovich father and daughter, the Mechkovsky mother and daughter, and other specialists. The hospital director, Tatyana Lapkovskaya, is a hereditary doctor; in 2014, she took first place in the hospital competition in the nomination "Best Physician of Therapeutic Profile in Inpatient Medical and Preventive Departments."Despite their experience, degrees, and titles, Novopolotsk doctors continue to enrich their professional knowledge and improve their skills because medical science does not stand still, and it is necessary to assimilate new information in a timely manner. Classes, conferences, and other training events are held at the hospital. There is a corresponding base for this.
About 50-60 medical school graduates are sent here for internships annually. Additionally, doctors undergo advanced training and professional development courses necessary for obtaining and confirming their category. Currently, Vladimir Khodasevich and Alexander Dmitriev are undergoing specialization in providing endovascular surgical care to patients with vascular pathologies. The hospital plans to equip an X-ray endovascular operating room. Renovation of premises is underway.
In the coming months, a computed tomography room will be opened. The premises are ready, necessary approvals have been obtained, and documentation is being processed. The introduction of this innovation will improve the level of neuroimaging for strokes and provide effective assistance to patients with severe injuries.
