Novopolotsk «LLK-NAFTAN» is developing a strategy for promoting products in the Transcaucasian region countries

Novopolotsk SOOO "LLK-Naftan" has begun actively developing the new market of Azerbaijan for itself and expects to create a kind of bridgehead for promoting its own products to other countries in the Transcaucasian region.

The domestic manufacturer is constantly working to expand the geography of sales, and due to the high quality of its products, it manages to establish itself in new markets. Recently, "LLK-Naftan" sent the first batch of oil additives to the experimental mechanical plant of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. This marked the initial stage of implementing the cooperation agreement between the manufacturers, signed in mid-April during the visit of the "LLK-Naftan" delegation to Baku. The trip to Transcaucasia should be viewed in the context of the established close multilateral cooperation between the two countries as an example of the implementation of agreements reached at the meeting of the leaders of the two states in November 2015 in Minsk, noted General Director of the enterprise Mikhail Babushkin. And the prospects for such a partnership for Novopolotsk residents are obvious.

– Today, steps are being taken in Azerbaijan to revive the production of motor oils, and they have good prospects in this direction. This work is being carried out on the basis of the experimental mechanical plant, and as production volumes increase

"Their need for additives will constantly grow, which means orders for us will also increase," explained the company's head.

In addition to cooperation in the production sphere, agreements were reached on the development of scientific and technical cooperation during the April trip. The Novopolotsk businessmen did not limit their interest to purely production issues and took advantage of the opportunity to visit the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Additive Chemistry, which is part of it. By the way, this institute was a pioneer among research institutions in the former Soviet Union in the development of lubricant additives. A huge experience has been accumulated there, and a serious scientific foundation has been formed on this topic, which is now also available to the Belarusian manufacturer. Agreements have been reached on the possibility of exchanging scientific and technical developments and their subsequent testing in Novopolotsk to determine promising areas for the use of innovations in the "LLK-Naftan" formulations.

Azerbaijan has become the twentieth country where the products of the Novopolotsk company are represented. Today, the share of exports in the total production volume of "LLK-Naftan" exceeds 95%, with more than 50% accounted for by supplies to foreign countries. As Mikhail Babushkin noted, this year the enterprise faces serious tasks in terms of production indicators, and the team is fulfilling them with dignity. Thus, according to the results of the first quarter, the output of industrial products increased by 28%, and the net profit volume grew by almost 60%. The growth rate of the average salary at the enterprise exceeded 117%, while labor productivity increased by 25%.
