New equipment was handed over to the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade
The 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade's parade ground hosted the assignment of new military equipment to the unit's personnel.
The equipment handover ceremony was conducted by the Commander of the Special Operations Forces, Major General Vadim Denisenko.
-- The brigade received repair and evacuation vehicles (REM-KL) and maintenance workshops (MTO). The MTO is a vehicle equipped with a set of all necessary tools, machine tools, and units for performing labor-intensive repair work on any standard equipment of varying complexity. It has a boom crane for lifting vehicle engines and other loads weighing up to 2 tons. The REM-KL is designed for evacuating stuck and disabled vehicles, towing, and maintenance, -- explained Vadim Denisenko.
These are modernized models for repair work in field conditions and evacuation of disabled equipment on the battlefield. Such models will be in service with the brigade's repair company and the maintenance platoons of the parachute-descent battalions.

The Commander of the 103rd Brigade, Guards Colonel Vladimir Safonov, noted that professionally trained crews are capable of performing a wide range of tasks with this equipment, which will undoubtedly enhance the unit's combat capability.
