Новые дизели запустят по маршруту Витебск–Минск, они будут быстрее скорых поездов
New diesel trains will run on the Vitebsk–Minsk route starting December 8.

– They will run three times a day in both directions, – says Ruslan Krinitsky, head of the passenger department of the Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railway. – The journey time is three hours, which is 30 minutes faster compared to the schedule of a fast train. Passengers will enjoy comfortable business-class conditions, information displays, air conditioning, and the ability to use the internet en route.

The six-car DP-6 diesel trains are a new product specifically created for the Belarusian railway. They are manufactured by the Polish concern JSC "PESA Bydgoszcz," which has been producing rolling stock for several decades. The company's electric and diesel trains operate in Germany, Italy, and the Czech Republic, and its latest trams carry passengers in Kaliningrad and Moscow. The trains supplied to the Republic of Belarus are among the first vehicles in the world to meet the strictest international safety requirements.
