Livestock breeders in the Vitebsk region will receive new additional payments for their work
Incentives for livestock workers have been improved by order of the chairman of the regional executive committee, Nikolai Sherstnev.
As reported by Anzhela Nikitina, head of the economics department of the agricultural and food committee of the regional executive committee, the new recommendations have been prepared to ensure the material interest of agricultural workers in the final results of their labor, increase productivity, improve the quality of manufactured products, and boost revenue in agricultural enterprises. While previously various bonuses and allowances were primarily based on gross indicators, the focus has now shifted to qualitative parameters. Recommendations on incentive measures have been sent to agricultural organizations and apply to all industry workers, from chief specialists to livestock breeders. For example, specialists may receive contract work bonuses of up to 50%, and bonuses for the nature, specifics, and complexity of the work performed – up to 300%. Based on the year-end results, a bonus of up to 50% is provided for meeting qualitative indicators. The salary of a key profession, such as a cattle artificial insemination operator, depends on the quality of insemination of cows and heifers and the offspring yield. Heads of dairy farms and complexes of various categories, and other livestock workers, are recommended to receive payment up to 0.4% of the revenue generated at a specific facility. Additionally, as an incentive, a bonus of 0.3% of revenue is provided for each percentage point increase in milk commodity output (maximum limit 95% and above), and for the sale of milk of the "extra" grade (100% – 0.2% of revenue).
The financial condition of agricultural enterprises depends on every employee. Therefore, the innovation is designed to improve the quality of manufactured products and, consequently, increase the revenue of farms and significantly raise the wages of team members.
