New trolleybus routes will appear in Vitebsk

Trolleybuses are planned to run in Vitebsk along Voïnav-Internatsyyanalistav Street and in Bilevo. This was announced by Vyacheslav Lassky, chief specialist of the housing and communal services department of the city executive committee.

– For the overgrown Bilevo district, the need has arisen to add another type of transport, as problems arise here during peak hours, – noted Vyacheslav Robertovich. – The work has begun, but due to lack of funding, it had to be suspended.

As for Voïnav-Internatsyyanalistav Street, as Vyacheslav Lassky said, the contact network has already been installed here, poles and pavilions are in place, and there are bus stops. It remains to equip the traction substation.
