A new festival may appear in Vitebsk
The Vitebsk Culture Center plans to hold a new festival in January, after Christmas. "This winter project will be more focused on competition than on a guest program. Nevertheless, it will provide us with a flow of tourists and an opportunity to scout in advance the ensembles that may later come to the Slavianski Bazaar. You can say that this is a kind of qualifying competition for participation in the festival, not only from the side of contestants, but also of various dance ensembles. We are looking for them non-stop all year round to frame all the performances of the forum," noted Gleb Lapitsky.
The Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk festival was held this year from July 8 to 17. More than 160 events took place during the forum, which were attended by over 300,000 people. 72,000 tickets were sold.
