The new building of Orsha Hospital No. 1 is planned to be commissioned by the end of the year
Local residents have been waiting for the opening of the building for several years. Currently, work at the facility is nearing completion. "We are preparing the premises, arranging furniture. Work has been carried out without days off for about two months. I think we should commission this facility within the planned timeframe (by the end of the year)," said Dmitry Mikhalevich, General Director of Construction Trust No. 18 of Orsha.
Residents of several districts of the Vitebsk region will be able to receive qualified medical care in the hospital. The ten floors will house departments of cardiology, surgery, urology, and hemodialysis. Thanks to modern equipment, a number of complex operations, including vascular surgery, will be performed in Orsha. "In addition, joint replacement surgeries and lens surgeries will be performed here. The capabilities of the surgical department are expanding. For example, laparoscopic interventions using modern methods of tissue impact," emphasized Vladimir Plytkevich, Chief Physician of the Orsha Central Polyclinic.
