A new bridge in the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve has connected the Borisov and Dokshitsy districts
A new bridge has opened in the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve in the Brody tract area. This information is posted on the website of the State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve".
The bridge connects the Borisov district of the Minsk region and the Dokshitsy district of the Vitebsk region. Its construction was carried out by the personnel of the 188th Guards Novgorod Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov II Class Engineering Brigade (Mogilev). The facility is of high importance for the local population, as it connects the nearby villages of Brody and Kraitsy. For the scientific staff of the reserve, the bridge provides the closest route to the wild bison herd. And for visitors of the State Nature Protection Institution, it is another entry option into the reserve. Previously, there was a bridge in this place, but for safety reasons, it was used only as a pedestrian bridge.
